1950’s POLKA-DOT Silk DRESS & Matching Linen PRINCESS COAT

1950’s Cocoa-Brown & Ivory Polka Dot drop-waist dress w/neckties, original belt & matching lined Princess Coat. The Polka Dot fabric feels to me to be lightweight Silk (remote possibility it may be rayon). The Coat is a rayon-cotton blend with a linen slub in the weave. This ensemble looks like it came direct from the closet of “Midge Maisel”. Dress measures Chest-34-36″, Waist-28″, Hip-38-40″, Length rear collar seam to hem-41 1/2″. Coat measures Chest-36″, Waist-28″, Shoulder seam to seam-15 1/8″, Length rear collar seam to hem-44 3/4″. Outstanding Condition, No rips/holes/tears or stains on either piece, No underarm shadows, No fading. Tiny smudge at collar & some small specks at one underarm (see pics). Truly an Amazing Set purchased at Lintons, Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, direct from the original wearer.
