1950’s “LOVE LETTER” Novelty Print CIRCLE SKIRT

Gtd. original & acquired from the original owner, 1950’s iconic Novelty Print “Love Letter” polished cotton circle skirt with an enormous circumference of 16 panels total. Measures Waist 27″, Length 30 3/4″, Diameter 67 1/4”. Outstanding condition, no rips/holes/tears or noteworthy stains. Side metal zipper, the waistband was added at a subsequent date along with a crude button hole. One panel has a slight tinge from storage at the ivory letter only (see photo), & a few panels may have ultra-faint/minor dye-bleed from the skirt being folded unto itself for decades (see photo), but this may also just be a standard stock characteristic of this print, (it’s truly a non-noteworthy detail). I opted to not launder this skirt as this fabric is crisp in the hand, & this skirt was never worn. Highly coveted piece for the collection, as nice as you will find.
