Late 1950’s Deadstock & New w/Tags, Hand-Sequined Cocktail Shell on Silk Crepe. Rear Metal Zipper at Back with Blouson Snap Overlay to conceal zipper, Hand-Stitched Sequins & construction. Measures Chest-34″, Length shoulder to hem-17″. Superb Condition, even the original bag of additional sequins is still attached to the Hang Tag. Florence Lustig was a well known couturier from the 1940s to the 1960s. Her showroom was located in New York City, in addition to owning upscale boutiques in Palm Beach and Miami. She also designed wardrobe for several movies during that time. During Grace Kelly’s modeling career in the 1940s, Grace can be seen in one of several “film shorts” shopping for evening gowns at Lustig’s showroom, which was located at 54 E. 57th St in New York City.
