1940’s Blakely Fashions RAYON Novelty Print “CHERRIES” Dress

Hard to Find, Original Late 1940’s heavy rayon crepe Novelty Print “Cherry” Dress, asymmetric covered buttons down side with full sweeping skirt by “Blakely Original Fashions”. Side metal zipper, rolled cuffs, no shoulder pads. Measures Chest-36-38″, Waist-30″, Hip-41″, Length nape seam to hem-47″, Length waist seam to hem-approx. 30″. Excellent Condition, No fading or underarm discoloration, No stains, No rips/tears, tiny pinhole as shown next to the eye of a needle & a few tiny lightish smudges (see last pic). Original belt has gone missing, there is a dirt smudge at the inside crease of the collar as shown, estate-direct. The hem is hand-basted. The light coloration you see on the shoulders or upper torso is from incandescent light above, it is not fading.
