1930’s PARROT TULIP & DAFFODIL BOUQUET Rayon BARKCLOTH BED-DRAPERY SET

Vintage Late 1930’s-Early 40’s Woven Rayon Barkcloth Faille 13-Piece Boudoir Set, Floral Bouquets of Magenta Pink Parrot Tulips & Daffodils, Stunning Colors indicative of the era. Double-Bedspread with Long Ruffles on the sides, Set of 6 Long Drapery Panels & 6 Dresser Scarves-Doilies. Bedspread has piping & shallow notches at the foot board (see photo), there would be no long ruffle at the foot board, (in other words), you would tuck this portion in. The Drapery Panels all have pinch-pleats at tops & measure 12 1/2-14″ across the pleats, at centers they measure 32″ wide, each will measure 82-84″ Long. The Bedspread measures 88″ long, 51 1/2″ across the top, with the ruffle measuring down an additional 23″ on either side.The length of the “overhang” at the notches at foot board measure 6 3/4″. 2 Dresser scarves, measuring 11X28″ & 11X38″. 3 Doilies measuring 9X9″, & 1 measuring 9 3/4″ X 11 1/2″. All of these pieces are in Exceptional Condition for the age with NO rips/holes or tears. Detractions will be very minor, there will be some areas of light browning found that will be minimal, & the small outline of minor water stains on one small doily & one drape (as shown in the last two photos). A frayed corner & a rough thread run at the hem of one drape. These pieces have all been cleaned but I’m sure an additional soak would do them good. No uneven fading, the base color is a light beige, probably darker in person since these photos were taken in bright sun, all are unlined. I doubt there is cotton in the weave of this fabric, but can not be 100% certain, it feels like a woven rayon faille with an evident Bark Texture. Rare to find a complete ensemble such as this.
