1930’s Victorian Revival Necklace & Matching Bracelet, exquisite 18th-Century Courting Couples depicted in what appears to be Transfer but may quite possibly be a very skilled miniature hand-painting. Black Enamel surround in the style of Taille d’Epargné with tiny gold beads. The Cameo Portraits “float” in the reticulated centers. Herringbone Box Link chains with slide-in box clasps on both. Necklace measures 16 3/4″ long, center medallion measures 2″ diameter. Bracelet measures 7 3/8″ long, center medallion measures 1 3/8″ diameter. This set is not signed, it could have been made by a number of high-end designers of that era, the workmanship is exquisite. Condition is excellent with some light verdigris to limited crevices & the right side of the gold strap on the bracelet has lifted at it’s solder point which is of no consequence.
