Exquisite All-Original Early 1900’s Gibson Girl Era Hand-Beaded Purse. Tiny Faceted Black Jet Glass Seed Beads in the Pattern of a Large Magenta and Pin Rose Blossom with Buds, Amazing Basketweave Crosshatch Patterning at Bottom and Top which his done in Soft Blush Pink Tipped Fringe which compliments the contrast of the deep Rose Pink Beads at the upper crosshatch. Cinched Pleated Silk Satin at the Asymmetric Opening with Long Wrist Strap. Large and Dramatic, measures 6 1/4″ wide thru the center body, 16 3/4″ long to the tip of the chevron fringe. Closes via a single snap, lined in Black Silk Satin with two small interior pockets on either side. This Purse is in AS NICE AS YOU WILL FIND Condition, Exceptional in all ways with NO bead Loss, No Missing or Loose Beads, NO missing fringe, NO holes or weak spots in the lining, I see only one tiny off-color speck in the weave at the strap (see last pic).
